We slept in late and woke up to SUN!! After breakfast we purchased tickets for the London tour bus which also gave us free tickets to the Thames cruise boats. We road the boat upriver and heard about all the interesting things that took place in the buildings near the river. We got off at Greenwich and visited the Maritime Museum (where we saw the clothing that English war hero Horatio Nelson was wearing when he was fatally wounded by a gunshot in battle), Queen's House, and the Royal Observatory (where the prime meridian line is). After wandering around Greenwich and looking in some bookshops, we headed back on the boat. We grabbed some food in a grocery store before meeting up with Chelsea (our good friend from Corvallis who was here on a school trip!) at the Victoria Palace Theatre where we all saw the musical, Billy Elliot. It was an absolutely amazing show--incredible dancing and a lot of fun. It was lovely to spend time with Chelsea here in London and we were very excited to see the show!
