We arrived in London today and were picked up at the airport by Maria's Aunt Caryn and Uncle Jan. They drove us back to their apartment which is right near the Tower Bridge. On the way we drove by Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London. After breakfast we accompanied Caryn to a service at a beautiful church within walking distance. We had a nice nap in the afternoon followed by a delicious dinner (prepared by Jan)--complete with a glass of wine!
It's very exciting to be here and we're looking forward to exploring London tomorrow...
