The other night we actually hung out with french people!!! It was pretty exciting and went really well. A couple of weeks ago we signed up for french conversation partners through the school. It is really cool that they do this because we have not been making alot of french friends. (It is hard because we are not in classes with them) We planned a dinner and movie night with our partners. (It wasn't actually with my partner, but someone else's that I became good frinds with) We ate at a creperie. there were 4 french people and 5 Americans; we did not choose a big enough table and were extremely squished. It was really fun. Eventually some people started comparing Disney songs and french and english which was pretty funny. We spent alot of time at the creperie because our movie was not until 10:something. We went to see "Welcome" which is a french film, but everuyone in it speaks there native language. This meant that alot of it was in english... It was extremely sad, but good. This evening is really a milestone for me because it was the first time that I actually felt confident in my french skills (we spoke the whole time in french) It was also the first time I had ever had personality while speaking in french! I hope we do something like that again soon!
